그랜드 투어: 여행과 독서 기록

#영국여행#런던여행#런던공공박물관#런던내셔널갤러리#런던국립미술관 오전에 V&A 박물관을 짧게 둘러보고 나왔다. 감기 몸살로 컨디션이 별로 좋지 않은 상태에서 이번 여행 출발했는데 설상가상으로 비염 증상이 나타났다. 두 번째 목적지는 내셔널 갤러리 National Gallery를 향해 걸어가는데 콧물 눈물 흘리며 런던의 거리를 걸었다. 가는 길에 커피를 한 잔 마셨다. 부드럽고 맛 좋은 카푸치노 한 잔에 티라미수 한 조각 먹었다. 런던 식음업장의 물가는 어마어마하다. 금액 자체도 낮지 않은데 보통 총금액의 10퍼센트를 service charge로 내야 한다. 트라팔가 광장의 내셔널 갤러리 트라팔가 광장에 위치한 내셔널 갤러리는 서양 미술사 박물관으로 약 2300점의 소장품을 보유하고 ..

#영국여행#런던여행#공공박물관#빅토리아앤앨버트박물관 2025년의 첫 여행지는 런던이다. 유럽살이 벌써 8년 차인데... 런던과 파리에 가본 적이 없다. 런던 히스로 공항에서 비행기 환승한 적은 있지만 런던을 목적으로 여행 가는 것은 이번이 처음이다. 한때 세계의 절반을 지배한 작은 섬나라 영국. 매력적인 역사 인물이 많은 흥미로운 나라. 하필이면 여행 출발 사흘 전부터 컨디션이 나빠졌다. 코감기에 가벼운 몸살이었다. 다행히 돌아다니지 못할 정도는 아니었다. 그러나 여행 마치고 집에 올 때까지도 컨디션이 완전히 회복되지 않아 조금 힘들었다. 아직은 쌀쌀한 이른 봄, 여행 기간도 짧아 많은 계획을 세우지는 않았고 공공박물관 위주로 다니기로 했다. 그 첫 번째가 목적지는 빅토리아 앤 앨버트 박물관이다...
